John just came from his medical evaluation in sickbay and is going to the office of the xo when he arrived he rings the bell.

Joe who at the moment was in the middle of doing some reports on some odd happenings in the security department jumped at the sound of the buzzer. He was quite surprised as he had expected no one and had almost finished his report to the captain and had plans on going down to get something to eat.

However, hearing the door buzzer Joe first calmed himself down, laughed at himself and faced the door calling out.” Enter!”

John enters the office ‘Sir i got told to see you.’

Joe looked up from his desk and saw the young engineering officer in front of him and frowned. Was he supposed to see someone? He stood as he continued to think it over. Well, he quite probably was supposed to since this young man was standing in front of him wanting to see him, eh?

Joe smiled then and motioned to the chair in front of his small desk. “Well then if you’ve some to see me then make yourself comfortable. He held out his hand to the Lieutenant to shake his hand and as he did, he smiled in a friendly fashion and said to John, “I’m the XO . Joe Milligan and don’t believe the things you might hear about me I’m only half as bad as the rumors say I am.” As he sat Joe pointed to a glass bowl on the edge of the desk and asked John.” Care for a jellybean? Take you a few. . So what can I do for you Lieutenant?”
