OOC: Bob just as a side question, what DH role is your XO also covering? Since its not listed atm on the roster. I’d like to see it noted and for my own notes on the sims plans for what your XO is formerly skilled in

OOC: We discussed once before and agreed (with hierarchy approval), that as an alt Environment ship, the STF rule about the XO requiring to also have a DH role does not apply on the USS Merrimack (or other alt Environment ships) and so is not required on the roster. If you are just asking out of curiosity and for your own notes, then sorry, that’s perfectly fine, but I think Bob has already mentioned several times that his character came up the ranks via Security. I’ll let him expand upon that more and he could maybe add it to his character profile.

OOC: Yeah no I just wanted the info for my own notes. I’m aware from previous talks the XO doesn’t have to be a DH, but as you outlined below my follow up was going to be a suggestion of him covering as even an acting COS as an interim for the sim and stuff. Again mainly I wanted it to know how I should have someone interact with the XO etc. Anyhow, Thanks!

Edit: Joe, since we are currently short of a COS it would help a great deal if you could cover that role during the landing party visit?

I propose that the new COS joins the landing party and replaces one of the two NE Security.

I should have also welcomed James Gray as out new COS first but didn’t get time to do so. Welcome to the Merrimack!

Let’s say that his current “arrival” posts happened some time ago and he can jump straight into the shuttle leaving now.
