NC Stevens was more than glad to report ‘’Sir one of the spheres was opened and there was an egg like shape inside,when we attached energy it grew ,increasing the energy it grew even bigger,We now know from the child that the spheres were there both for strength and vitality required nutritiously for sustained physical and mental activity should he wake up and could be used as power derived from the utilization of energized resources for the pod itself’’ the Ensign was quiet visibly excited .

William nodded “How does the child consume the energy of the spheres?” He asked “Do we know the process itself?”

Stevens paused thinking before replying. “..I would say in an edible form it is likely a lot like a hard boiled egg, the child or their caretaker would peel it, and then use samples of the inside to replicate or synthesize the organic matter inside into edible forms. Or the child probably could also peel the outside casing and directly ingest the organic matter directly, probably not as healthy but maybe in an emergency it would suffice?” he said.

William nodded slowly “Interesting, I want scans, as detailed and intensive scans as we dare do on these devices, I’d like to see if we can replicate the process for humans or other federation Species, could lead to new kinds of emergency rations, ones that include a power supply. How do the eggs work when applied to their technology, what’s the step-by-step from egg to electricity?” He asked.
