”..Habitat Master Dol? Yes, we all have met him at one time or another. Though without knowing how long it has been that I was in stasis I do not know if it is the same Dol when I went into the pod. In either case, all Habitat Masters take up the name Dol whether officially or not when they assume the position of office. Each Dol is elected by a committee of nine advisors. Those who wish to run for the position of Dol or Habitat Master do so when the previous one either steps down due to old age, dies, or chooses to move to another position of authority or work. Some Dols last for their life time, others choose to step down after a few years. But they all in my experience before entering the pod have been good people whether male or female among my race. They’re also held to the highest of standards to our laws and culture, any that are felt to be abusing that power and have it proven are forced to step down and a new Dol is chosen..” he said.

‘’Franz’’ Cross asked after a while ‘’Did anyone tell you that once in the pod no one might find you and if that happened you would eventually die in space? And if you had been informed were you forced or was it your decision no matter the outcome?’‘.

”..Yes it was something we had come to accept when I chose to enter the Seed Pod training. It is scary, but it was also exciting to me to maybe have a real family and experience new things outside the Habitat. So I felt it was worth it. So no I was not forced, I chose to go. If I had declined when the offer was made I would have just continued my life and education in The Center with other children then gone into further education for some kind of provision on the Habitat that I was best suited for..” he explained.

With a calming voice Cross replied ‘’ I’m sorry that you found no parents but was lucky enough to find us, our main priority was to get you back to your home land ..taking care of you was our main priority’‘.

”..I see..” Franz replied.

There was a shadow of relief on her face,she did not pick anything that might have suggested the child was put inside the pod by force,nor did she see any negative non verbal communication. All in all the female doctor was satisfied,though she still knew that the boy could have been lied too or if he hid any sociopath tendency he hid them well. Cross got up looking around for Hunter,gesturing to come inside her office ‘’Franz remember the doctor with the long hair?’’ she pointed at the male doctor.’’ He shall take you for an ice cream, it’s our favorite dessert and I’m sure you would enjoy it’’ .

Hunter smiled at the boy ‘’Come on young man lets go and get us both some ice cream’’ taking his hand both left the CMO’s office but not before Hunter poked his tongue at Cross.

”..I am always open to trying new things, so um…lead on I guess!” he replied.

Tia had been hovering in the hallway since accompanying the boy to the eval. As the child and his escort reappeared in the hall, she exhaled a breath she didn’t realize she’s been holding. “Everything go alright? You doing ok, Franz?”

She smiled and hoped the child hadn’t been upset. She wasn’t sure why, but the kid has come to mean something to her and it troubled her she couldn’t just snap her fingers and rewind time so they hadn’t interrupted his normal life path. But she couldn’t. And somehow she more felt responsible for him.

Franz smiled a bit to Tia, “..I am alright Tia. Your Doctor Cross was just asking me some questions about my people and how I came to be in the Seed Pod program. Hunter here is taking me for ice cream, did you uh want to come along?” he asked.

OOC: I’ll assume the above reply is before the gym thread, which then makes the below reply confusing to me is if we’re going for ice cream how is hunter in that thread and this upcoming one?

OOC: Sorry it is a bit confusing as Tia responded in sickbay about the boy and we have gone over to the gymnasium ,where Cross ,Cmdr and the boy still are.Hunter left the gymnasium and headed to sickbay were he saw the CE.

OOC: Ok so how do we want to resolve the below part?

As Hunter entered sickbay he saw Tia,knowing how much she had cared for the boy the doctor approached her ‘’Chief ,the boy is with the Cmdr we’re hoping for some more information, for the Captain wants to be sure that once we hand Franz over he’ll be in safe hands ‘’ the doctor assured her in the hope of making her at ease.

The doctor did find it strange the the CE rarely interacted with anyone at least what he observed in sickbay especially since she had such a caring nature ‘’Tia are you alright ?’’ Hunter asked in a friendly manner..

OOC: I have tried to make some contact with Tia during RP,thus the above and we have now moved on, though the boy is with Hunter in sickbay while the away team is preparing to leave in the main sim - marthese

OOC: And Tia should now be in the Conference Room too giving her report and preparing to leave on the shuttle, so this thread can also be closed now.
