=/\= Captain when I asked the child about prison he explained how their system work, saying usually when people break their laws they are send to a therapeutic and reeducation school,except for those too far gone to recover or change their lives. In that case they are put to work under supervision by the corrections division on the habitat ,So with the word ‘On’ I would assume there is nothing wrong on the planet surface ,having said that maybe they are concerned with the explosives in space around their planet which Dol mentioned to you and are taking precautions should anything happen? Besides sending a probe would be a better solution to find out then asking a child =/\= and Cross went on =/\= Both his parents and grandparents have died according to the boy =/\=.

I could send a probe, and thanks for your command advice, but we are guests here and I’m not sure how the Dol would react to us doing that, yet I do still want to get all the information that I possibly can before we meet with him. And please ask the child again the exact circumstances under which his entire family was suddenly wiped out. It may not be relevant, or it might have been a fluke accident involving a self-sealing stem bolt. At the moment we just don’t know. =/\=

Glen was feeling more confident about this upcoming First Contact meeting with Dol now. Even so, he had this feeling that made him question if everything was still not quite as it seemed.

Captain Glen decided that it might be a good idea to have a short meeting with the officers that he was taking down to the Habitat, just so that they would all be on the same wavelength. He did appreciate the difficulty of interrogating a child, and could understand Doctor Cross’s frustrations. He also wasn’t unaware of the ethical considerations. However, if they were to navigate the Prime Directive without breaking it, which was, after all, an officer’s first duty beyond all others, then they needed the very best intelligence, and here they had a child that probably knew everything they needed to know. Not to properly unpack that information first would be a serious mistake, and he just wanted his crew to understand that.

=/\= Glen to Senior officers. We will be taking a shuttle down to the Habitat to meet the Dol in 2 hours 45 minutes. I want to take a shuttle in case he doesn’t have Transporter technology. Could we meet in Conference Room-B, Deck 3 in 2 hours 30 minutes for a short briefing. I need us to be speaking from the same page when we meet the Dol. Glen out. =/\=
