Charles helped Jasper to his feet. “..Hey man no need to go beating yourself up there! I mean you’re making more work for yourself and medical if you keep it up at this rate!” he said trying to joke a bit. “..Listen seems you need to unload some baggage maybe you should go touch base with Dr Cross? She might be able to help you unwind a bit and find some peace? She’s always working through similar stuff so she would probably know how to handle it better then others..” he suggested.

Jasper listened to Charles as he got back to his feet. “Thanks for the extra hand to get me up. It’s nothing I can’t handle Just releasing some bad energies. I am fine now other than the hand now but I will confer to the Doctor as you suggest as Jasper turned back towards the exit. “I better go get this taken care of.” Jasper said calmly to Charles. “Thank you, Charles, I appreciate you trying to help you’re more than welcome to accompany me to sickbay to make sure I get there and not chicken out.” Jasper said as he cradled his throbbing hand full of pain now. as the hand got more purple looking. As Jasper jumped at the touch from his other hand touching his other hand that was now in major pain. “I am not feeling too hot now.” as the pain was getting more overwhelming now. “We better hurry.” Jasper said quickly. As Jasper passed the threshold and started moving towards sickbay. He felt he could pass out as he started to run towards medical as the pain pulsed through jasper at every foot step and now his heart was racing more too. which cause more throbbing in his hand. As he almost hit the sickbay doors as he bare got passed as he scraped his arm on the one side of the door as he almost tripped into the room. as he caught himself on the door frame as he regained balance. “Doctor?”

Grinning a bit in reply to Jasper in a friendly manner he said, “..Lead on man, I’ll see you safely to sickbay..” he said.

Doctor Marthese was about to leave sickbay for her break when she caught sight of him ‘’Jasper,whatever is the matter are you alright?’’ she asked putting a hand around his waist ‘’Let me assist you to a biobed while you lie down’’ at the same time Marthese had already attached the diagnostic wand to the medical tricoder. Since he had been with the landing team she thought it would be better to call Cross.

”..I’ll take my leave here, Ensign. You take care now you hear?” he said.

“Thank you, Ensign! Your kindness wont be unrewarded!” Jasper said with a half-hearted smile as he looked towards the doctor. “I just released some pent-up stress and such doc nothing more. The bulkhead won.” Jasper said sincerely to the doctor. noticing he was holding the injured hand protectively from harm. he knew the doctor would want to see it. But he was not fund of the idea.

‘’Oh dear me’’ the female doctor replied with a concerned look on her face ‘’I thought you injured yourself when with the away team,do you want me to call Cross?’’ marthese asked noticing his anxiety which she was so familiar with.

‘’Just hold it out ..trust me I’m not going to hurt you’‘.

“Jasper smiled briefly as the smile faded. “Unless you think its absolutely necessary doctor, to call Doctor Cross?” Jasper said calmly to the doctor. “But it is your choice doctor.” As he held out his hand to the doctor. “I know you won’t hurt me not intentionally that is. as he pulled out his protected hurt hand noting the blood on his knuckles and most of or all his hand was no black and blue from all the damage and bruising.

‘’Nope’’ she replied ‘’I was going to call her cause I though you had injured yourself too ‘’ and she pointed to the crew man sleeping like a baby ‘’Cross brought him to sickbay she said his burn was made by a snake ‘’.
Cocking her head to one side the female doctor went on ‘’Now lets see if you managed to break any fingers ‘’ and with that she attached the diagnostic wand to the medical tricoder and started scanning ‘’Say Jasper was it true that there was a big snake down on the planet?’’ just thinking about it brought on goosebumps on the doctor’s arms.

OOC:What does the scan pick up?

“How is the officer doctor?” he was concerned about the crewman. As he held still for the scans. “Yes, there was a Big snake and tons of baby snakes and eggs.” Jasper said is trembled hard as he felt the snake would appear out of the blue and take him. As he shook his head to clear that image from his mind. “I was lucky I did not die there too..” Jasper. As he looked at the crew man again.

(He hit the bulkhead so hard he did break most of the bones in his right hand.)

‘’Oh he’s not that bad his wound was similar to a burn and thanks to his boots it saved him from a more deeper injury’’ the doctor replied ‘’I don’t blame you, had I been there I would surly have freaked out’’ marthese replied as she read the scan .

‘’Got some bad news Jasper, the wrist itself contains eight small bones, called carpals three of them are broken and two middle phalanges.. em fingers to understand me ‘’ No wonder that the engineer was in pain ‘’I’m going to give you a potent analgesia for the pain and unfortunately need to operate later this evening ‘’ she informed the young man ‘’So for now just lay on the biobed while I administer the shot’‘.

“Why the wait? Doctor?” Jasper asked calmly. as he laid back on the biobed. As he waited for the inevitable shot. “I don’t see anyone in sickbay other than that officer. over there? As he looked at the readings from the distance he was stable and holding.” Jasper said calmly.

The doctor gave the engineer a serious look ‘’ With the painkiller I just gave you the pain will subside just take it easy and rest,its not an emergency ‘’ she tried to keep her tone neutral ‘’I said this evening.... remember its not just a finger you managed to break’’ .

The first thing the doctor did was enter the CMO’s office were she found Cross doing the tedious paper work ‘’Doctor Cross, Jasper the engineer has a couple of broken bones thanks to punching the bulkhead or so he said’’ Marthese stopped momentarily scratching her head ‘’I’m about to operate..is it okay with you?’’ she asked.

Cross did not bother to raise her head, with the CMO not on duty due to her illness Cross had to take on the workload ‘’Sure doctor go ahead, I have read your file and quite confident in your abilities as a doctor and surgeon even in major surgeries’’ .Marthese left looking at NC Nurse James ‘’Could you please get every thing ready to operate on Jasper while I take a look at his medical file’‘.

Jasper did not say anything more to the doctor as he laid there quietly and started to fall asleep from bordom. He knew the other doctor came in but seemed to ignore the fact he was there she seemed preoccupied. As he looked away from them. As they talked.

The male nurse prepared the medical tools needed and headed to the patient ‘’Ready Jasper?’’ he asked ‘’I’m about to take you to the surgical room’’ he told the engineer pushing the biobed he was on ‘’The doctor is already there scrubbing up ‘’.
