It was several weeks later, the crew of the Merrimack had in that time been given some R&R while docked at Deep Space K-9. Finally on a mid-morning Monday at 0900 hours the ship had departed under orders to return to Earth and the Sol system. On their 2nd day to return they would receive a hail from Starfleet Academy from the Academy commandant Admiral Rose.

Take it that Captain Glen answers the hail from Admrial Rose and complies with his order.

Tia was on the bridge at her station when the hail arrived. The fact it was an Admiral piqued her interest and she swiveled in her seat to see the view screen or at least listen in.

William turned around on his swivel chair and looked at the viewscreen. It had been too long since he’d been to Earth, it’d be nice to go home for a little bit.
