USS Merrimack
Merrimack Sickbay
Results showed the Alstair skin could be graphed similar to humans with slight alterations obviously. Other then that things seemed ok. The damage was mostly 1st and 2nd degree burns.
Satisfied that Greg had matters in hand, Liz decided to reach out to the bridge and check on their status with the sleeper ship that had been located.
=/\=Dr. Jasper to the bridge; we’ve got the patients from Alstair under control for the time being. What’s the status of the other away team? Is there anything that sickbay can do for support?=/\=
While Liz waited for a reply from the bridge, she set about replicating artificial skin grafts for her patients utilizing the specifications from her medical computer, making adjustments as noted to account for the Alstairian’s physiology. The bio-replicator whirred to life and materialized the skin grafts in front of her.
“You two should be as good as new before you know it,” said Liz soothingly, knowing full well that her unconscious patients couldn’t hear a word and not caring. She set about applying the skin grafts to the burned areas, and waved a dermal regenerator over the affected locations to ensure that the skin grafts made full contact with the burns.
“The bridge doesn’t seem terribly concerned about responding to me in any kind of hurry,” remarked Liz as she finished up her work. She applied a hypospray to the mother to wake her up, and watched her eyes flutter open.
“Hello there,” she said with a smile as she set her hypospray down on her equipment table.
