=/\= We’ve arrived back at the Council Chamber now. It looks normal here. The meteorite site was being cleared up by local militia. Apparently, this is a frequent occurrence here, and is treated as quite an everyday experience. I’m glad no one died and that you have the treatments in hand. I’m not sure there is any more we can do for them without some engineering solution to their problem. Obviously, I’ll be putting that in my report to Starfleet. =/\=

With the major injuries from the planet tended too, sickbay began to quiet down. Alstair patients were processed one by one back to the transporter room with most of their major injuries tended and the rest just needing bed rest to recover fully. Thankfully no deaths were reported. The worst of the injuries was from a mother/daughter pair that had been trapped at the impact site that had come up recently. These two were burned badly and would need a bit more time in the burn chambers to be fully healed.

Liz kept the comm link open to Glen while she walked across the room to tend to the mother/daughter pair that had suffered from severe burns. She had been treating them with a combination of extra-strength therapeutic burn ointments, but progress was frustratingly slow.

=/\=Is there a surgeon general in their government, or some kind of medical liaison that we could speak to? I refuse to believe that any health care system worth anything at all is at peace with this many casualties on a regular basis.=/\=
