Liz had been non-stop busy in sickbay for what had felt like weeks without a break, tending to survivors of the concussive blast that had impacted the city on Alstair. Broken bones, concussions, abrasions, and all manner of major and minor injuries had flooded her sickbay, but with the help of her nursing staff and attending doctors, she had managed to bring the organized chaos in sickbay to a manageable level.

Sinking into her office chair, Liz reached for her comm unit on her desk to reach out to the captain.
