Now actively scanning for further asteroids they found out beyond the system a multitude of possible asteroids that might impact Alstair Prime was literally by fate in a ‘shooting gallery of chance’ of impacts and it would explain why they had the sensor net they did, there was also signs of increased risks of ion storms that could form then was usual for most other regions of space, again reflecting the mentioned paranoia and fear they felt towards such things in avoiding them. The Merrimack could go out of the system to phaser up the asteroids which may or not impact in a few years or more but the question was should they at this stage?
