USS Merrimack
Main shuttlebay
“Well, Mister Grey, it looks like the shuttle is ready for us. Want me to bring back any souvenirs for you from the surface?”
William blinked in mild surprise at the question but answered quickly “Perhaps any cultural data you can discover; art, poetry or music” He turned back to shuttle “The Captain only said that he wished to have a shuttle on the ground, perhaps a security precaution in case I have to take the Merrimack somewhere again”

“Seems wise,” agreed Jasper with a nod. “I have a feeling that studying their hospital system might give some tangential insight into their religious beliefs and educational structure, among other things. We’ll see what other pieces of their culture work their way in, too, but honestly I’m expecting it to be pretty dry, at least on the surface. That being said, if I see a shot glass in the gift shop, I’ll pick one up for you.”
Grey seemed like a nice enough guy, but was in dire need of loosening up. Liz idly wondered to herself if he liked bourbon and made a mental note to check with him when they all returned from their mission.
She ran a hand through her short reddish-gray hair, glancing at the shuttle. “It looks like we’re all set, so I’m going to claim my seat. Hope everything goes well aboard the sleeper ship.” She smiled at Grey and made her way into the entry hatch of the shuttle to claim her seat.
