After receiving word from the bridge that medical teams were going to be necessary to study the sleeper ship as well as examine the Alstairean hospital system, Liz knew that she was in for a long evening. She gathered her favorite medical tricorder, the same one she’d held on to from when she opened her first office, along with a medical kit just in case, and instructed several orderlies and specialists to do the same.

A very confused Greg wandered back into sickbay.

“Doctor, where’s everyone going? I was in the middle of re-heating nachos in the galley when I got your call.”

“You can have nachos when you get back. We’ve got work to do. Get your gear.”

Liz left the dentist on staff, Dr. Von Kreitze, in charge temporarily of sickbay operations as she led her troupe out of sickbay and found their way to the shuttlebay, seeking out whoever looked like they might be in charge.

“Dr. Jasper, reporting for duty. I brought some additional medical staff for us to spread out as needed.”

William had just arrived to meet the arriving shuttle when the Doctor reported in. The tall thin man turned to face the Medical chief “I don’t know how many we’ll need on the surface. I’ll be taking some of your staff over to the Sleeper ship along with a detachment of Engineers and a Security escort alongside Chief Ezial to assist there. I understand that the Captain wants you to examine the medicinal capabilities of our new friends. The shuttle will take you and whomever you deem necessary to join you in such a venture” He spoke formally with hands behind his back, he hadn’t grown particularly used to being in command of anything bigger than his lab but he did what he must.
