So I’m curious… is it habit to just stop a thread mid conversation and move it to a completely DIFFERENT location without posting anything in the thread itself? It seems the thread I was in was simply stopped midstream and a couple more threads relevant to the story line, are now happening.

Just trying to figure this out please. (And where Tia should be)

This was partly my fault in how i titled the threads and changed the action as it happened. Tia is still with the Captain and company at present in this thread https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf6/merrimack/posts/138793/ getting ready for a tour of different aspects of the Alstaire culture and such. To tidy things up ill reply to the last bump you made to close that out then. Sorry again for the confusion

OOC: If possible, I would like everything happening in the same one location kept inside one thread please, and not split off into separate conversations (unless they are conversations that cannot be heard by everyone, or if the people have left the same area). I think that is the best way to stop anyone getting lost and threads not getting any replies. As for changing thread titles, this is necessary as the action changes. The luncheon has finished and the tour has begun, so the title changes.

One of the problems is that after 7 days the threads with no replies will disappear from first view. If you split off threads from the main thread and there are no replies for 7 days then they will not appear unless people change the setting. I can’t emphasise any more the importance of EVERYONE reading ALL the posts to see ANY that may apply to your own character(s).

As I have already explained, in the case you are complaining about, you, yourself split off the thread from the main thread (very possibly accidentally) and all Robert did was to change the thread title. Then you didn’t didn’t return for over 7 days and it disappeared from your view. Then there was obviously some misunderstanding and people have now got upset. Could we move on now please?

Everyone is currently together in the same party, just about to begin a tour. Except for William, who is on his own on the ship.
