Almost an hour and a half later Saark’s work with their staff had certainly eased any pain the comatose female aliens would feel were they awake. They had also ran regenerative medicines through their systems which while it would not heal them any time soon should speed up their recovery to a far greater degree then the medical sciences of their guests could allow. Their medical advisor’s words seemed to confirm this in her excited sing song like tone. =/\= Amazing! Certainly amazing! While I do not think we will be bringing them out of their coma any time soon. The healing factor you have increased to their burned muscles, nerves, and skin is....well light years ahead of what we could have done. I suppose time will tell where they shall go from here. For now if it’s ok I should get them and my self back to my ship.=/\= The female alien said.

Saark had instructed the medical team to use dermal regenerators, which would help heal the patients’ burned skin. He also was quite strict about keeping the burns clean, to prevent infection. He’d considered preventative antibiotics but had ultimately decided against them due to being unsure how the alien’s bodies would process them. Finally, bandages had been applied to protect and keep the burns clean, which like in old times, would need to be changed regularly.

“Keeping them in their coma is a wise move, for now. Even with our advanced medicine, burns of this scale would be quite painful, and they still have much healing to do.” He responded. “I would be glad to assist you in getting you and your crew back aboard your own ship safely.”

After visiting Inola and his Engineering teams for updates, Glen had returned to the Merrimack and decided to visit Sickbay for an update on their patients from Dr. Saark.

“At ease, Doctor,” said Glen, “I don’t want to interupt your work. I just wanted to see how our patients are doing. We should arrive at Alstair Prime in four days time. Will they be well enough then to be transported down to the surface and cared for by their local doctors, or do they need further treatment here first?”
