As the Lt. went to see the doctor he went in and said “hello. Doctor are you here this is Lt. B.J. Hunnicutt.” He then said as soon as he reached the bio bed.Lt. B.J. Hunnicutt
Lt. Saark met Lt. JG Hunnicut at the biobed. “Good morning, Lieutenant. You’re here for your check in?” He said, putting out his hand for a handshake.
The Vulcan gestured to the biobed and said, “Your check-in will be done with utmost efficiency. Is there anything I need to know that isn’t already in your medical file?”

“No Lt. There isn’t. And sorry for my lateness and for not showing up” as he to Lt. Saark’s hand for a handshake.

“An occasional occurrence of lateness is unavoidable, as long as it isn’t a habit” said Saark with a small shrug, “I’m going to do a medical scan.” He said and he grabbed a tricorder and began to scan Hunnicutt from head to toe, watching the tricorder’s screen.

“Sorry Lt. That was my fault. If another one does come around I promise it won’t happen again.” Said Hunnicutt with a big smile on his face.

Saark shrugged once, then asked a rather mechanical question: “Are you excited to work aboard the Merrimack?” He asked, though he did not particularly care for the answer. Most new crew members seemed to like being asked, so the Vulcan usually made the effort - though he didn’t much see the point. Whether one was ‘excited’ or not, they’d have to work here, that’s orders. Still, he found most who came to the Merrimack wanted to be here. He himself had requested this posting, after all.

“Yes I am sir. I’ve always wanted this position as transporter chief of the ship so yes I am very much excited to work here. Thanks for asking.” As Hunnicutt smiled and chuckled to himself.

He nodded. “It’s a great ship.” he said, and then he checked the scan results. “Scans are clean. You are officially medically cleared for duty, Lieutenant. Unless you have any other questions or concerns?”
~ Lt. Saark, CMO
“No I do not Lt. Thank you. I’ll be waiting at my position or something doing what a transporter chief does.” As he smiles back.
