As the first bomb cleared the bay, the Merrimack went to warp the bridge crew also picked up the Ark Angel being impacted by the blueish missiles seeming to have survived the attack, as they went to warp they also picked up the Ark Angel madly accelerating to something pushing what seemed the impossible speed of warp 17 as if to emphasize this the needle on the helm console made a ‘ping’ sound as it broke…

Then on long range sensors the Ark Angel also got picked up as it left firing its own torpedoes out the aft quarter, the burst fire impacting just a shy second after Kord’s bomb went off. The shockwave picked up engulfed the system between the two blinding all sensors, but as that cleared 30 seconds later and sensors rebooted they picked up a vortex sucking in the last of the Serpent ships and sealing up with a flash. Kord’s subspace bomb had done its job as well disrupting the Serpent’s own portals, the combined energy vortex had shattered the system’s third moont though that the away team had been on!

OOC: This part assumed to be once you get back in system on impulse....

Upon reaching the system the local interference had cleared up, the ark Angel too was picked up dropping from warp and came in on an intercept course to the Merrimack’s port beam, life sign scans picked up the away team on a large bit of rubble of the moon some kind of high energy shielding keeping them alive from the vacuum of space.

While they couldn’t yet beam out the team, they could get comms in on them though now.

“NE Lacey. Re-establish comms with the Ark Angel and the away team ASAP.” Kord ordered. His calm demeanor didn’t waiver but there was a slight hint of elevated tension in his voice.

Anna hadn’t bothered to look at the screens. The imagery was just too much and she had her own work to do.

“Working sir.” she said without glancing up.

After a moment comms got linked easily enough to the Ark Angel and a few seconds later the away team..

For the Ark Angel after a moment the Romulan CO’s voice came through =/\= Yes Commander, everything ok on your end? =/\= Drudoc asked

Anna turned to the Commander.

“Cross is a bit panicky but no-one’s reported any injuries.” she explained.

Drudoc’s reply then came back =/\= Understood commander, we’re dealing with some clean up of a boarding party on our end, is there any help you require?=/\= she asked
