Tom arrived on the auxiliary bridge moments before most of the security team.

The security ensign that was already there was momentarily startled by the appearance of the IntSec agent. He’d heard rumors that there was one on board, but no-one he knew remembered ever seeing the man, but he quickly regained his composure.

“Ensign Charles.” Tom said, “Status report.”

The security officer came to attention, “The auxiliary bridge was empty upon my arrival moments ago sir.”

Tom frowned, “Organize a sweep. I want a scan for biological trace.”

“Yes sir.” replied Ensign Charles who started assigning areas to search as more security officers entered.

Tom was waiting for the consoled to be scanned before he started pouring through code as he didn’t want to contaminate any potential evidence.

NE Dan-o entered a few seconds after Tom, and pulled out his tricorder, scanning the console nearest to the lieutenant.

Tom looked at NE Dan-O.

“I want even the most minute biological traces found in this room categorized.” he said.

Dan-O nodded, returning his attention to the tricorder. He doubted, though, that the small device was suited to the highly-detailed scanning work that Jarvis wanted.

“You’ll want a science team down here too, sir,” he told Jarvis. “A tricorder can only pick up so much information, those guys have gear that can tell you the composition of the breath exhalations of anyone who was in here over the last week.”

NE Dan-O

“Let’s make it happen.” Tom said.

=^=Lieutenant Jarvis to science, I need a high resolution analysis tricorder on the auxiliary bridge as soon as possible.=^=

Dan-O nodded, then consulted his own tricorder. “That said sir, as far as I can tell, this console is clean.”

NE Dan-O

“Somehow that doesn’t surprise me.” Tom said, “Would you say it’s too clean?”

Tom, IntSec

“No?” Dan-O said. “It doesn’t appear to be any cleaner than the other consoles in this bank…”

NE Dan-O

Tom took a breath. It was a disappointment but it would have to do. As soon as science had their tricorders run over it he’d go back to his quarters and process the information.

Tigress had gotten there message =/\= this is Ensign Tigress I’m on my way=/\= a bird could be heard screaming in the bacround.

About ten minutes later Tigress entered the Auxiliary Bridge. There were some patches of fur missing on her arms. “ I’m sorry for the delay one of the birds did not want to go back into his enclosure.” She said simply as she held the trycorders out of the two officers.

Tom looked down at the tricorder Tigress was holding out towards him.

“What do you expect me to do with that?” he asked, “I’m no scientist. I’m just a lowly Internal Security agent.”

Tigress smiled his stament was kinda funny. “ then why did you ask for the trycorder if you don’t know how to use it. And I believe you out rank me so I call noncence on you being a lowly internal security agent. Anyway what are you guys looking for so I hand help you better. “Tigress said.
Ensign Tigress

Tom smiled back at her careful not to show his teeth as many felinoid species, in his experience, saw the display of teeth as a threat.

“I need a high resolution sweep of the consoles and maintenance accesses for biological residues.” he said.

Tigress nodded and stared the scan. She did notice the strange why Tom Simled. In fact anyone how was not Ben or the consuler smiled weard like that at her.” Sir why do you and other on the ship smile so strange” she asked as she worked. It would take a moment for the results to actually show up on the scan.
Ensign Tigress

“How do you mean Ensign.” Tom asked as he watched her perform the scans.

-Tom, IntSec

“People take care not to show there teeth at me. But they do that with others. I find humanoids behavior quite confusing sertinly more complicated then the animals I work with” Tigress said thoughtfully.
Ensign Tigress

“I see.” Tom said, “I have experience with a few feline races from outside the Federation. I know, that’s more Intel work than Internal Security, but I was investigating a possible technology leak originating within the federation. Anyway, like the Caitains, the Lyrans understand that the showing of teeth in a non feline smile is not necessarily a threat, but their reflexive action is the widening of the eyes, the raising of hackles, and the flattening of ears. That usually lasts for a second before they shift back to polite. However with the Kzinti, Mirak, and Primal Caits, a toothy smile will almost surly get one onto a fight. So it’s become a habit with me to smile with my lips closed when dealing with any felinoid race. It’s also a good practice with reptilian races as well.”

“ that is interesting I was rased by humans. I also found it strange how others in the crow seem to be careful around me” Tigress said. She looked at the scanner.
