Tigress grinned as she started to set up her prank. She set a bucket of cold water so that it would dump on Ben’s head as soon as he walked into his room. She just hoped the consuler could keep him bizzy long enough for Tigress to set up the joke and hide before Ben got back from his shift.

They were several sections down the hall and around a couple of corners from Ben’s quarters. Riley saw the familiar shape of Lt. Park from several yards back. The security officer looked as if he’d just finished his shift and was on his way home.

Riley quickened his pace and called out, “Lieutenant, do you have a moment?”
