Shortly after she did clock out from work at sickbay, and after having a lovely talk with the captain she had then decided to go and head to the holodeck. Something to do. Try and socialize with others. Get out and do something fun. She arrived at the turbolift. The turbolift doors slide wide open. “Holodeck 1”. She said to the computer. The computer had then closed the doors. As she stood there, she was happy to say that this is her first ever interaction that she might get from someone of the crew. Maybe. The turbolift doors slid wide open and she then started to walk to the holodeck. She then said “Paris, France.” The holodeck then said “Enter when ready.” She then walked in the holodeck and found that being there was the most soothing place she could ever choose to be in. She then went in and walked around the city on the holodeck and found a little bar or something to get a little bite.

Becky walked into the holodeck and looked around. She liked Paris although she had never been there. It was a beautiful day and Becky decided to take a seat in one oft he outdoor cafe’s. Ordering a cup of coffee, she looked around wondering who else might be in the program.

Ashley looked over and saw someone she never met. She looked over and said. “Hello I am Lieutenant J.G. Ashley Logan. I’ve never seen you around here before let alone on board the Genesis.” She said looking at the new person.

Becky let out a small laugh. “I have been around. Its not like the Genesis is a bus with stops. I also work the graveyard shift so I tend to hang out with more of the Delta shift. Today however I couldn’t sleep so I happened down here. Nice program. Ever been to Paris?”

Ashley looked at Becky. “Yeah I have. It’s nice and it’s beautiful. It’s a place where I want to get married at. Then go to risa for shore leave. You know. But I’m not sure if I’ll even get that chance if you know what I mean. But yeah. Paris is one of my favorite places to go too. Something to get out of sickbay and while I’m not on duty as well.” Ashley said with a smile as she kept looking at Becky.

“How long have you been the CMO,” she asked taking a sip of her espresso?”

“For the past couple of years. Been on board as CMO, has its perks but also challenges. But I enjoy it.” She replied to her.

“So you are looking to go career.” Becky nodded but more as if this was the response she expected from an officer. It didn’t surprise her. The woman was on the young side for being an officer but had that look of a career Fleeter. Becky had no intention of staying in space or Starfleet for longer than necessary. “What made you want to join.”

“The reason why I joined is because I know I can make a difference honestly. I joined to be a Chief medical officer to heal people.” She replied to Becky as she nodded.

“Nobel motivation,” Becky agreed. “I am here for nothing so grand. It’s just a means to a paycheck.” Looking around the city, Becky had questions. “So tell me about your favorite place in Paris.”

“Just Paris really. Nothing to special. I just like going to Paris to clear my mind from work.” Logan said.

“Yeah I do. But at the same time it’s a place to get my mind cleared as well.” She said with a smile.

“So tell me about yourself that doesn’t have to do with work,” Becky let out a laugh. “Everyone complains that we all just get together to complain about work but when we do get together all we fall back on is work conversations. Are you married or seeing anyone?”

“I am not married. Kinda of been looking. But you know how that is. I am also not seeing anyone.” She said. “What about you?” She asked.

“I have a guy on Beta V. We joined together but not being an officer like you we get stuck anywhere someone wants to place us. Officers get moved around for their career. Us unlisted people are just cogs in the Federation. I am doing my time and I am out.”

“Really?” She asked. “How come?” She added.

“Well the Federation has killed my last two fiancés and I am looking to keep this one,” she said casually. “My first fiancé was directly out of boot. He was an engineer and fell into a cement mixer full of duracrete. The man running the thing on the other end wasn’t paying attention. It was tragic,” Becky said taking a sip of her coffee

“Oh I’m sorry. I didn’t know. I would be with someone but most people might end up judging me. I’m more of someone who likes women more then men. I mean there’s nothing wrong with men, it’s just I prefer women honestly.” She said.

“Why do you think people would judge you for your preference? That is kinda twentieth century thinking,” she commented good naturedly. The twentieth century was a crazy time. It was an interesting read in the history books but Becky was glad it was just history and they had grown from it.

“I know it’s just I haven’t found the right person.” She said with a slight smile.

“What is your right person,” Becky asked casually. “Mine is tall. Being five nine myself, I am looking for someone that is taller than I am. I also like green eyes. The rest if up for grabs.”

“Honestly I wouldn’t know honestly. My type is well you know another female being around 5‘6”-5‘9” tall with green eyes or blue eyes.” She said to Becky responding casually.
