While the doctor went back to sick ay after not exactly having the best date she had with the now tactical officer. She went back and started working on medical reports. She had decided that maybe it’s best for her to focus and so now she has decided to do her work.

OOC: Assuming here we were close to some port of call ..

It wasn’t too much later when there was a slight commotion and three individuals came in, followed by a fourth. Two were supporting a third between them, making for a curious bunch. But the principle explanation could be said with one word: engineers. The individual they were supporting was a Bolian with large almost pointed ears, bulky and looking like he was going to pop out of his uniform at any moment. His blue face and hands was covered in greenish blistering blotches. He was supported by two humans, one a mousey looking man with ensign’s pips and perhaps the oldest ensign the doctor may have seen. The other was a smaller man with straw colored hair and glasses. The former had a redness on his hands. The fourth was a lovely looking Vulcan woman whose eyes expressed some concern for the Bolian while at the same time exhibiting the ‘longsuffering’ look of working and being around humans who do silly things.

“Doc!” said the older ensign who went by the name Deeg. “Bat here ran into some poison ivy.” There was a small snort from the Vulcan, nicknamed Angel.
- A bunch of engineers

“Poison ivy? Might I ask where you guys were at when this happened?” As she started to administer some medical treatment. “However, I’ve just administered a treatment that will take up between 2-4 days if not less. So I suggest coming to sickbay once everyday and I can administer the treatment.” She had said.

They all looked at each other, well, the guys did. Deeg looked away and scratched at the back of his neck. Nobody spoke up until Angel did. “They were, I believe the term is, stunting at a skateboard park.”
“It was great,” Sebastian said. Incidentally he was the only one of the three not affected by the poison ivy.
“If great is defined as showing off to the other children present there then you have elevated yourself to particular eminence,” Angel continued. “They were attempting to climb a ridge and get as close as possible to the top. Bat excelled in this and leaped the barrier beyond and landed in the patch of poison ivy. Given the particular nature of their antics it is unlikely that their target was the ivy itself.”

Deeg was looking at the treatment with a critical eye before he noticed Bat. “Uh, doc,” he said, just as Bat next to him wheezed something that sounded like ‘eeth’ and then fell over backwards. Fortunately he was sitting at the time. “Doc!”
- Engineers ..

OOC: He will show he has a particularly bad reaction to it .. swelling and breathing issues, made worse as he is a Bolian - not that that in itself is bad, but his reaction is moreso than the usual expectation with humans contacting it. This was not on his record as it was the first time he had been exposed to it. .. Gene

“Damn it!” She then had put him on a tranquilizer to help ease the breathing. However, she was never known how to deal with poison ivy before. This is her first case so she then continued to help.

Deeg and Sebastian helped Bat up onto a bio bed proper. Scans would show that there was a swelling along his airway that was hindering his breathing. Apart from the nasty rash and blistering, that didn’t seem to be affecting his principal vitals, but the breathing part was the thing to deal with …

“Damn it. Where are my medical staff when I need it.” As she worked on the young man and finally got him to breath right. Not knowing what she did, she finally got him to breath.

Tense moments passed. Sebastian and Deeg watching, almost daring not to breath too, Deeg absently scratching at where he had picked up the poison ivy. Angel, standing behind could be noted to unconsciously wringing her hands now and again. When Bat finally was breathing more regularly everyone looked relieved. Deeg blew out a breath. “Thanks, doc,” Deeg said. He looked at the others. “We should, ah, leave you be then so you can keep an eye on him?”

“I will do so. Uh is there anything else I can do for you gentlemen?” She asked the engineers not knowing what else to do or what to say. As she was terrified of what had just happened. She then sat back into her office and sat down in her office and keeping an eye on her patient. Not knowing what will happen.
