Davd waits by the entrance to the holodeck dressed sharply in button up shirt and slacks

Ashley came by after she got off from her duty shift and in a nice long blue dress with makeup on. She smiled at David. “Hello gorgeous.” She said with a smile.

David’s smile broadened upon seeing Ashley. “Wow, you look amazing!” he exclaimed, planting a kiss on her cheek. “Shall we?” With a few button presses, he activated the holodeck. As they stepped in, the environment transformed around them. They were now on a cobblestone street; the air was rich with the scent of spices. Imposing stone walls encircled the ancient-looking city, and the setting sun cast a golden glow on a dome that dominated the skyline. David turned to Ashley, taking her hand, and said, “Welcome to Jerusalem.”

“Thanks David you look cute yourself. And it looks great. Where you come from?” She asked as she smiled looking at him and blushes a little bit.

CMO Logan

He nods smiling at her “Yeah, It’s one of the oldest Cities on earth” He points to a free standing wall where they can see several people gathering “in real life that wall is from Earths Roman Empire more that 2000 years ago”

“Well, I bet it was something different for all people. Something that not all people can understand. I know I don’t quite understand it only cause once I signed up with Starfleet. San Francisco is the only place I’ve been to.” She said with a smile.

“The wall is all that remains of the Herod’s Temple, the retaining wall to be exact, we Jews refer to it as the wailing wall. It’s the most holy place in our religion” He paused then smiled “but enough history, I have a date with a beautiful woman” He winked and kissed her

David’s smile broadens as they enter a quaint restaurant. The waiter escorts them to a secluded table at the rear. With a gentlemanly gesture, David draws out a chair for Ashley, he leans over giving her a kiss on the back of the neck.

She smiled and blushed a little. “Thanks David. So please tell me a little more about you.” She said with a big smile.

David settled into the seat opposite Ashley, pondering her inquiry before responding with a casual shrug. “As I mentioned, I was born in Jerusalem on Earth. My father is a Rabbi—a teacher of the Torah in Judaism, akin to what you might call a priest. My mother is an archaeologist; that’s where my passion for history comes from,” he explained, his statement punctuated by a soft chuckle

“Well you’re doing something you are passion about. I mean, they have to right. I mean from a cute guy like you I can’t imagine you not being taken by anyone. But however, I think you might’ve found yourself the right girl.” She said with a smile.

David smirked “I guess we shall see, what about you? What’s your story?” He said as the food arrived

“Oh you know Betazoid. Youngest one to enter Starfleet. Family is gone. So this is the only family I have. Other than that. That’s about it.” She said with a smile. Looking at David.
