It was late one night, or early one morning, as Marishka sat going through files and waiting for Marshmallow to deliver. It seemed she hadn’t parted the rabbits in time and now would have to deal with baby bunnies.

Chan was not happy, not happy at all. She was still dealing with Julian leaving and now she had been told that the investigation into her husbands murder had reached a dead end, they had suspects but they had just disappeared. Chan had submitted a formal request to continue the investigation. Luckily for her her uncle and most of his council were in the same frame of mind. However they needed intelligence from an outside source. Chan knew what that meant, Marishka. great just great. Having to deal with her she thought. However she had been given a mission form her ruler (her uncle) and she would carry it out.

So here she was standing outside Marishka’s office. she took a deep breath double check the Andorian padd she had with her and rang the chime.

Marishka’s private security had chosen that moment not to work. She would really have to get someone on that in the morning.

Stepping away from the Rabbits, she paused wondering if that was Mary at the door. The two women had become friends after a few false starts, but they weren’t scheduled to meet for coffee tonight.

“Open.” she said.
