Thor and Baily woke up not in sickbay or the engine room but in a small bedroom. The room was sparse and resembled more of a dorm room back in the academy with two twin beds, two dressers, and a night table in between them. Instead of the gold uniforms, both men were wearing dull gray coveralls with their names across the pocket as if they were civilian workers in a blue-collar job and not Starfleet officers.

Dagen woke with a start. He had been dreaming of a medical emergency in Engineering and he had called for an transport to sickbay. Had he been dreaming this. Even before opening his eyes the feel and smell of the bed was different. “Reia,” he said quietly even as he opened his eyes. What? His hand brushed against his eyes as though to clear them that he’d see something different. And what was he wearing? Where was he? The holodeck? And Bailey? Outside of simulations Dagen had never been in a holodeck with Bailey. He swung his legs over the side of the small bed. Where was Reia? And where were they? The room reminded him of the Academy but didn’t have the posters and .. well, it wasn’t an utter mess like his typically was. THAT told him that Dagen had not created this simulation, even if he was in one. “Bailey, are you okay?” he asked, remembering his dream.
