The Medical Officers on duty would receive the following from NE Deeg from Engineering
=^= Deeg to sickbay. We have a .. two injuries. Shock. Potential electrocution. =^= It was suddenly cut off as if something had changed … then a call from the transporter room.

=^= Site to site transport from Main Engineering to Sickbay, orders of Deeg. All within three meters of NE Bailey’s badge. Energising now =^= the NE Transporter Officer said.

The usual amount of time went by for the transportation beam to work and for the transportees to appear … but all that appeared was a spanner. And it seemed to be sparking.

=^= Transportation complete. You should have the officers, Sickbay =^= that was the NE Transporter Operater again.

A short time later, mere minutes, Angel, or more formally called, Lt jg Seraph entered into Sickbay. Moving smoothly and straight, Angel noted the activity there and stayed outside the orbit of those working. All that she noted was an orderly standing not far from, logically assuming, the offending spanner. “Don’t touch that,” she said. Her eyes did an accounting of the people present. “Where is NE Bailey and Commander Thor?”

The orderly replied, “We thought that was joke. All that beamed in was this. I think the Doctor is going to make a complaint.” But Angel apparently wasn’t listening. She tapped her badge. =^= Seraph to Transporter Room. Only the Spanner arrived in the transport. Where is Commander Thor and Ensign Bailey? =^=

There was a long pause. Angel was unwilling to use the transporter again. =^= Transporter Room. Isolate and do no more transports. Scour the transport logs of that transport. I’m coming down to assist. =^=

=^= Angel to Sebastian. Attend Sickbay immediately. The spanner is here and is evidently malfunctioning. Utilize a magnetic grav unit to put it into an insulated container. No physical contact with it at all. Bring crewmen Santos and Collins to assist. Once retrieved remove it to the diagnostic lab in Engineering. =^=

=^= Aye Lt =^= Came the reply from NE Sebastian.

One incident was an accident. Two was pushing the bounds of probability, even for a Vulcan. =^= Lt Seraph to Bridge. There have been two incidents. One was an electrocution from a malfunctioning spanner in Engineering. Ensign Bailey was the victim of the malfunctioning spanner. She and Commander Thor were beamed to sickbay on his command. The transporter room confirmed transport, however only the spanner materialized. Engineering is reviewing visual logs and are in the process of retrieving the spanner from Sickbay. I have ordered the Transporters offline and to determine what went wrong. =^=
