It had been several months since Kalos had heard from Nerira and he was starting to get worried about her. He had had trouble reading her at the funeral and Kalos couldn’t tell how hard she was taking it. In the meantime his transfer had gone smoothly from the USS Challenger to the USS Genesis. Having already met the Chief Engineer, a very sensible person that kalos figured he would get along well with, and the Counselor, a kind woman but who seemed to think she was an engineer, he was pretty much ready to start.
