It had been a tight mission but after, they had sent him back to the Genesis. He left a Lieutenant Commander and returned as a Lieutenant but, that was the way of Internal Security. Make rank adjustments as necessary for cover in a mission and just leave it. After all, who would believe that a LtCdr would work as a lowly file clerk in Star Fleet Command Headquarters? Tom thought full Lieutenant was pushing it but it seemed to go by unnoticed, like much of his life.

Tom shook off that thought and looked around the empty shuttle bay. Surely someone knew he was coming though, with the way things around him tend to run, he didn’t doubt that his handlers had forgotten to send the message.

Tom picked up his bag of new toys that IntSec had given him and made to leave the shuttle bay to see if he still had his quarters/office.
