Tigress grinned that was an ironic statement. “ well cats are curios creators. I would still like to know more about Caitians. But, first I would like to know How did you get through the academy?” She asked.

Tom laughed.

“I didn’t make it through my first year at the academy. Intel’s internal security department and Section 31 noticed an anomaly between my records and instructor reports and decided to recruit me directly into their departments for special training. Internal security won the bet so to speak. You could say that they literally seduced me into the program. Deltans are very good at that sort of thing.”

Tigress ears dropped back agenst her head at the mention of section 31. Her exspretion was pizza.” If memory serves the rumors of section 31 are all bad news.” Now she watched him carfully. “You would never jeprodise the safety of this ship and her crew would you” she asked carfuly.

Tom looked surprised then laughed long and loud.

“That’s funny. I’m with Internal Security, one of the most successful agents in the institute, and you want to ask me if I’m a security risk. That’s rich.”

Tigress growled at him. It was more to get his attention then actually being aggressive. “ often times it’s the ones we trust to keep us safe that betray us in the end. Iv seen it over and over again both with human’s and with animals nacher has patterns of you look for them. There is also much we can learn from animals” Tigress said calmly. She stood up suddenly packing back and forth in front of his desk. She needed to move, and in that breaf moment she looked more like a caged animal then a person. She did eventually sit down again.

Tom got himself under control and manage to stop laughing.

“ if you do want to keep this crew and ship safe keep an eye on the captain, there is something about him that I don’t trust” Tigress said after a moment.

Tom’s expression got very serious and his voice lost all warmth.

“If a conflict of personalities was equivalent to a security risk, there wouldn’t be anyone left in Star Fleet. As long as you follow orders and don’t try to overthrow the Captain without reasonable and provable justification you can feel however you want but do be cautious. Attempting to sew dissent against the Captain based on your feelings can be a dangerous path for your career. I’d hate to see you charged with conspiracy to mutiny over a misunderstanding.” Tom said flatly.

It would be clear that Tom wasn’t being threatening, merely passing on information. He considered sending the recording of this conversation on to Tigress, after she left, so she could at least know that they had talked and what they talked about. Tom didn’t think she was trying to start a mutiny and wanted her to be aware that some might misconstrue her expression of her feelings as such.

“ understand sir the only other people how know besides you are Ben and the consuler. I have no intention of starting any fights without prof it’s really dumb to start a fight if you can’t win it” Tigress said calmly. She thought for a moment. “ besides if I’m not in the Zooalogy lab I’m in my quarters or hanging out with Ben. I would never have the time or energy to start something for no reason” Tigress added. Tom would know that was true. Tigress keep to her self, she was a bit wild but that seemed to work for her in her line of work.
