Julien nodded at Aevin and grinned. “Well, good thing Trill aren’t usually that modest.” he said and started stripping all but his boxers. In a cupboard he found two pairs of short hot pants for men and two white muscle shirts, the same type as the staff was wearing. It was for sure weird to see your Captain mostly naked, but Julien did pull of the somewhat weird attire like a pro. He was naturally deeply tanned and he packed muscles like a security guard, more than any Captain or doctor should have. It all had reasons… but of course Aevin didn’t know about Julien’s past so far. Julien chortled. “I can’t wait to see the look on Riley’s and David’s face when they see us like that.” he said.
- JulienOOC: I think it will be a very appreciative look :)
“That’s one way to draw attention,” Riley quipped, admiring his lover’s physique as he followed his lead and disrobed above the waist. “So, what’s the plan? We happen upon Jackson and then, what?”
Dekker, CNSDavid gave a shrug. “We are kind of on his turf now. I guess we will just have to wait and see.” Spotting a few available lounge chairs by the main pool, David led Riley over and took a seat. He scanned the crowd for any sign of Julien and Aevin.
Leaning over towards Riley, David whispered. “It’s probably a long shot, but are you sensing anything.... out of the ordinary?”
-David Michaels, CSO
Riley settled into the chair, enjoying the feel of the sun on his skin and the relaxed laughter of people on vacation. He let his dark eyes roam over the crowd. They were a diverse lot. While Risans were the bulk of people present, mostly in clothing that identified them as staff, he counted at least twelve additional races.
“I sense a lot of happiness and pleasure,” he replied. “That’s to be expected. It helps though, that there’s such uniformity of emotions here. It let’s anything different stand out.”
Riley let himself search the crowd for the unusual. A familiar mind stood out to him.
“The Captain’s back, just on the other side of the pool. It looks like they were successful in altering their appearance,” he had pitched his voice low as he said this.
OOC: Do you want Riley to “spot” Jackson?
Dekker, CNS
bump for James to bring this along.
OOC: Still have to wait a bit for James the old world-traveller :-)Riley wouldn’t really be able to sense anything out of the ordinary. The overwhelming sense of pleasure and emotion was enough to sift through in his mind.
As Julien and Aevin had changed, a woman with bright pink hair and colorful tattoos covering most of her body approached. “You two!” She barked. “This isn’t time for a break. We got thirsty people out there.” She looked at Aevin. “The group of women in the hot tub are drinking the Solarian punch, make sure they get refills.” Then she turned to Julien. “And you… you’re perfect. Come with me.” She took Julien by the wrist gently and led him through the crowded pool area to a small cabana near the corner. It was surrounded by silk curtains on all four sides, blowing gently in the breeze.
Aevin moved off to serve drinks, keeping an eye on Julien as best he could while doing the job he was pretending to have.
“This guest requested a private waiter,” The woman told Julien, grinning. “Surprisingly he described you perfectly.” She let out a giggle and moved off.
As Julien entered the cabana, he would see a man sprawled on a chaise lounge. He wore a one-piece bodysuit uniform exactly like Julien had seen David wearing many times. The velvet like material was a deep forest green color, with a cord attached to the outside that snaked around the entire body. The man had longer hair that was jet black and was pulled back into a man bun style. He had a closely cropped goatee and his eyes were crystal blue. Having seen him once before, in the holo-recording, Julien would recognize him as none other than Jackson Grey.
Aevin saw Julien walk into a private cabana. They’d been separated. He’d have to rejoin the group by “serving” Michaels and Riley.
“Captain King,” Jackson said, his voice sticky sweet. “It is a pleasure to meet you. Please,” He motioned towards the sitting area. “Join me. We have much to discuss.”
From their seats, David and Riley would be able to see the woman ushering Julien and Aevin to work. David gave Riley a smirk. “Looks like they fit the part.” He watched as the woman led Julien off and Aevin tended to the women in the hot tub. “Maybe we should flag Aevin down and make sure he’s doing ok.”
-David Michaels
Aevin finished tending to his customers and subtly made his way to David and Riley. “Anything I can do to help you gentlemen?” He asked at a normal volume. “This was a terrible plan. We fit the part too well. We’ve actually been put to work. The manager said the Captain was ‘perfect’ for something and then dragged him into a private cabana.” he whispered, hoping at least his “boss” wouldn’t overhear.
-Aevin, Waiter
Riley wasn’t surprised the Captain had been singled out so quickly. He was a very attractive man, even altered to look Risan. Still, he wasn’t comfortable that he’d been separated from the herd, so to speak.
Riley sat up in his lounge chair, careful not to give away the fact that he knew their ‘waiter’. From a distance he undoubtedly looked like he was ordering a tropical cocktail.
“Which cabana?” he whispered. “One of us may need to stumble in there and retrieve him.”
Dekker, CNS
Aevin had a moment where he almost felt like a spy. Playing his character to communicate in code. “Well, that cabana” he pointed to the one he had seen Julien headed into “is the only one on private reserve at the moment. I can go check if you want? Make a reservation?”
-Aevin, Waiter
David let out a chuckle. He could only imagine what kind of trouble Julien had found himself in.
“Remember, we don’t want to do anything that might make us seem out of the ordinary,” David said, his eyes scanning the area. “Jackson wanted us here for a specific reason.”
In the swarm of mostly positive emotions Riley would be sensing, from the main pool bar there was a high sense of nervousness coming from one man seated at the bar. He looked human, in his early twenties, and he appeared visibly agitated. He shifted on the bar stool and his head twitched around from side to side, as if he was checking to see if anyone was watching.
-David Michaels
Riley turned his attention to the bar, his dark eyes squinting as he watched the human male clearly, at least to an empath, agitated.
“What of him?” he leaned in toward David. “Do you recognize him? There’s something not quite right there. Aevin, maybe you could go take his order? Strike up a conversation. Meanwhile, I’m happy to stumble, accidentally of course, into the cabana over there,” he indicated where Julien had disappeared. “After all, these drinks are pretty strong. I’m not sure I could hold my balance as I make my way to the boys’ room.”
Dekker, CNS
“I don’t recognize him,” David said, peering at the man from their vantage point. He looked over at Aevin. “Why don’t you go over and test the waters? If you think he’s suspicious enough, make eye contact with us and we will come over there.”
-David Michaels
Julien Switched on his cybernetically enhanced senses as he looked at Jackson. Then he sat down. “All right, let’s talk.” he said. He wasn’t worried yet. He was quite sure this man had futuristic equipment, but Julien had some himself and maybe Jackson really only wanted to talk.
- Julien King
Aevin made his way over to the suspicious man. He put on his best cheery act. “Can I get you anything sir? Anything at all.” He tried to look the man over as much as he could without raising suspicion.
-Aevin, Fake Waiter
OOC: This is so much fun :-)bump
The man looked up at Aevin. It didn’t take a telepath to determine the man was obviously nervous about something.
“Is that…” The man stammered. He looked back over his shoulder in the direction of where David and Riley sat. “Is that David Michaels?”
David looked over at Riley and raised his eyebrows. He was a little uneasy and very curious as to what this was all about.
