Ben had gone to the crew lounge and obtained a table for two near one of the large viewports. He sipped on a coffee as he anxiously awaited T’Lora. He wasn’t sure what she would order, she had mentioned she liked omelets, but he didn’t know what kind. He did know she liked tea, so he had ordered a pot and it sat steeping on the side of the table. He checked the time display, she wasn’t late, but she wasn’t early either. Mentally he chided himself, “I’m nervous as a teenager on his first date.”, then the irony of what he had just thought struck him and he smiled broadly.

Ben SO -Nervous as a teenager.....

T’Lora stepped into the Lounge, punctual as always, and spotted Ben sitting at a small table. She smiled and walked over, stopping besides the empty seat. “I assume this is reserved for me?” she teased. She noted the pot of tea and smiled. “Very thoughtful of you Ben.” T’Lora sat down across from him, and looked out the viewport. “The stars are quite asthectically pleasing.”
