Sharah finished up her last shift in sickbay. She made her way to Zarath’s office to say her goodbyes. Zarath had taught her a lot both as a doctor and as her doctor. She was grateful for everything he had taught her and her time on Europa. She was also excited for the new opportunity this transfer was going to give her. She said her goodbyes and then went back to her quarters. Ashlyn was there and it was a very tearful farewell for Sharah. Sharah spent several minutes being very stern, trying to encourage Ashlyn to submit her application. It was full and very well presented. There was a part of Sharah that felt like she kept saying goodbye to people since she graduated Academy, but that was part of being in Star Fleet. She and Ashlyn chatted and ate before her transport arrived that evening. A crewman came about an hour before that to get her chest with all her personal items so it could be transported over. She had a small duffel she was carrying with her. Both of her potted plants were in stasis boxes in the chest, but her chess set was in her duffel. When the transporter room called her, she hugged Ashlyn, and then left before she started crying. It was a long 2 week trip, with a couple of transfers, to her new ship.
