The operator had received the instructions from the Bridge to expect an Away Team to be arriving here at any minute, so he was already at work selecting the best coordinates to beam over to the other ship.

So it was Lieutenant Marsh, and Lieutenant Zorell, and… he thought. Did they say they were taking a security detachment? Better assume they’ll want a team of four, he thought.

Vora arrived shortly after the summons equipped with a science kit, her memory and curiosity about what they were doing. But she knew someone would fill her in. She gave a nod to the operator. “Hello,” she greeted, realising she was the first to arrive.
