She had a problem, there were no two ways about it. How to go about it was something that she wasn’t sure about and thus she needed an appropriate person to help her work through it.The reality was that Cassidy hadn’t had too many stumbling blocks in her tenure as COS. She had had great training and an amazing mentor and that had allowed her to understand how to manage the team well. While there was still the occasional person who resented her switch to security and rise in rank, she had no time for that nonsense.
But this was not that and Cass knew that if she didn’t handle it exceptionally well, she would be in huge trouble and there was no way she was going to let someone else’s flirting ruin her career.
Moving through the corridors, Abrams tapped her commbadge. =/\=Abrams to Nox. Counsellor, do you have a few minutes? I could use someone to talk to…=/\=
Abrams, COS
Interesting, she thought as she tapped her commbadge to reply. =/\= Of course Lt. I am available and in my office. Come on by for some refreshment and a chat.=/\=
Cassidy had taken exceptionally well to her role as Chief of Security. The Sienna from this universe had been supportive of her change from Science to Security and it had been a very good decision for the ship and for Abrams. She was competent, efficient, and well liked. Her mental evaluation had been spot on so Sienna wondered what was concerning her now. Had her long term relationship hit a snag? Issue with a coworker? Curious, she set out hot coffee and a variety of mini scones before taking a seat on her emerald colored couch.
Nox, CNS
Arriving, and more of less accepting Nox’s invite as an open door situation, Cassidy slipped into the office and all but sighed. She seemed to deflate as she approached, her mind intensely worried and working out the permutations of her rather awkward situation. “I have a problem. And it feels like a big one that will blow up in my face,” she said seriously, her body coiled with tension.
Abrams, COS
Sienna looked up as the doors opened and observed Cassidy’s obviously distressed state. She was very disturbed about something though her immediate words upon coming into Sienna’s office did not give hint to what was the matter. She gestured to her couch. “I am very good at problem solving. Tell me what is going on and I shall endeavor to help.”
