She had a problem, there were no two ways about it. How to go about it was something that she wasn’t sure about and thus she needed an appropriate person to help her work through it.

The reality was that Cassidy hadn’t had too many stumbling blocks in her tenure as COS. She had had great training and an amazing mentor and that had allowed her to understand how to manage the team well. While there was still the occasional person who resented her switch to security and rise in rank, she had no time for that nonsense.

But this was not that and Cass knew that if she didn’t handle it exceptionally well, she would be in huge trouble and there was no way she was going to let someone else’s flirting ruin her career.

Cassidy had taken exceptionally well to her role as Chief of Security. The Sienna from this universe had been supportive of her change from Science to Security and it had been a very good decision for the ship and for Abrams. She was competent, efficient, and well liked. Her mental evaluation had been spot on so Sienna wondered what was concerning her now. Had her long term relationship hit a snag? Issue with a coworker? Curious, she set out hot coffee and a variety of mini scones before taking a seat on her emerald colored couch.
