Cassidy laughed. “Sounds about right,” she said with a grin. “But all the best things are often collaborations. And I’m happy to help test it out. Though… if my friend Vora comes along, she may want to skip the lower city, so I will warn her about it ahead of time and she can decide either way. But give me a head up when you’re running it, and I will be there.”

Leaning back, she returned to her more serious demeanour. “Now, unless you have any other questions, I do believe you have some settling in to do. I will post the new schedule tomorrow morning.”

Abrams, COS

Trenton stood up and positioned herself behind the chair. “No further questions. Ensign Fayth and I will be running version-1 of the program, which is a base training program, within a few days. I’ll let you know the day before we do it so you and Vora can come.” Trenton stands at attention behind the chair, waiting to be dismissed.

Cassidy nodded. “Sounds good. Have a good day, Ensign,” she said with a light smile. There was a possible problem here but she wasn’t going to be anything but herself and Abrams had always been a social person and she wasn’t going to be standoffish now. However, if she needed to put up some walls so there were no misunderstandings, then that is what she would do. Or should she? Cass had no idea really. It occurred to her that she might need some feedback here.

Trenton turned and left the office, as soon as the doors closed behind her she began thumping her forehead with the heel of her palm. “Stupid, come on, you should have known better than that. Poorly received joke with the Counselor then openly flirting with your new lead, just how desperate are you?” Convinced the day couldn’t get much worse, Ashlyn headed back to her room. Sleeping off the poor social interactions wouldn’t fix the first impression, but she’ll have to worry about it tomorrow. She felt terrible and knew that this wouldn’t help Sharah at all, but with all the embarrassment she just put herself though it would be better to just go to sleep.
