Vora nodded and gently brought her right arm underneath her chest and held it with her left arm carefully. As she did so, she tapped her commbadge and only heard static. She frowned and sighed. “We can only assume they know we’re here,” she said as she looked upwards. Worse came to worse, they could try to get out through the emergency access, but in her state that was a difficult proposition.

It seemed they were stuck together. In a small space. Yet again.

Avik ripped the sleeves into as many strips as she could. Remaining on her knee, she set them to the side and began to wrap the arm. Over and around Vora’s neck, she looped the cloth before cradling it into a tight sling. While ensuring it didn’t move, she listened to the static on the commbadge.

Voa winced a bit as her arm was stabilized but she breathed deeply and tried to clear her mind. Not that that was something she was ever good at.

“I’ll try to the elevator communications,” Avik reasoned as she began to stand then moved to the other side of the elevator. She pressed the button but got the same static sound. Her mind was quite often active.

She pressed her lips together as she released her finger. “It’s likely another malfunction. They will be repairing it soon and for now, we can only wait. After about an hour, we’ll try again. The issues might be fixed by then.”

The XO lowered herself down into a sitting position and faced the science officer.

OOC: Didn’t notice my last reply cut off so inserted it in. Apologies.

Nodding slowly, Zorell exhaled and looked up towards the ceiling. At least that made the space a bit bigger. The pain was a strange factor in this and she knew that if there was going to be some sort of flashback or trigger for one, it would play a part. Casting her maroon eyes at Avik, she wasn’t entirely sure what to say but she knew she needed to stay focused on anything other than their predicament. “I need to keep myself distracted,” she said simply, unsure whether to elaborate or not. If she did, would that make things even more awkward between them.
