The visit with the Counselor had gone better than Trenton could have hoped and she was on her way to her last onboarding stop on her checklist before she could get to the holodeck to install and use the Trenton Park program. She wasn’t even sure she would make it to her quarters to change into more appropriate clothing, the uniforms were utility enough that they could still be used without hampering movement enough to matter. Trenton shook her head to get her thoughts back together, looking at the PaDD while heading toward the Security Office to better know the Chief of Security for the Europa. Lieutenant Junior Grade Cassidy Abrams had some interesting marks in her record that would be great for conversation, and clearly didn’t start off as Security but transferred into it. Having a major in Botany would give her something to share with Sharah later, making this the second time her friend was involved with her boss. The thought made her chuckle, ‘How mad would Rainns be if she hooked up with this CoS?’ All joking aside, Ashlyn hoped to have a better relationship with this leader compared to her last. Rainns’s use of Negative Reinforcement made him difficult to understand even when he was trying to encourage the then young cadet. This strained their relationship with mutual distrust that just didn’t make sense in the long run. Though their parting was amicable, Trenton still didn’t understand why he has so much distrust of her.

Having made it to the security office, Trenton took a moment to get the Conference to come to order and prepare for the potential list of questions that would come. Having a science background meant there was a chance she would be more interested in her analytical abilities, perhaps they would be willing to help hone Trenton’s investigative techniques for her future with Starfleet Intelligence. Being a Marksman would also mean weapons expertise, which would mean a chance to improve her skills with phasers which, while adequate, were still very average. With a deep calming breath and a schooled neutral mask, Trenton pressed the chime.
