Sharah faithfully ignore the memories, those were private and she would respect them as such. But Zorell was in science and she was fresh out of the academy and excited for her first assignment, mostly, “Zorell, do you know if there is anyone taking care of the Arboretum? I have a minor in botany and I would be happy to take care of it, or help, if needed.”
En Fayth, Doctor

Vora nodded. “We’ve got a team who deal with the botanical sciences, but they are always happy to have people get involved. Lieutenant Marsh will probably be happy to give any clearances needed, but it’s not usually a big deal. As long as someone knows ahead of time that you’re going to be working in there.” She grinned. “You know ho scientists are about people messing with their stuff.”

“What area of botanical sciences are you interested in?” Vora asked.

Lt. (j.g.) Zorell, Sciences

“I have a friend who introduced me to it when I was a child. Oliver Loughton, he’s on the Atlantis. My interest is in botanical/plant based medicines for emergency situations. I’m hoping to continue my research that I started on the Challenger. And in general I just love plants,” Sharah explained. Their emotional music was also very soothing to her and it was calming for her to work the flowerbeds, but she didn’t mention that part.

She nodded in understanding. Everyone had to have at least one thing that really captured their interest. “My best friend- she’s the Chief of Security now- she was a botanist before and used to breed orchid hybrids. Cass knows a lot of things. She might be a good resource for you,” Zorell suggested. She liked plants too, but had a different sort of relationship with them. She had a grand total of one in her quarters- a dwarf ficus that Christoff had dubbed Serenity and given to her to help her work though stuff in her mind. Some days it still felt weird to talk to a plant but he had been right that it had been therapeutic.

“Thank you, I’ll have to ask her about it.” Sharah focused back on getting her meal finished. “It really was a pleasure to meet you Zorell. Unfortunately I have to get going or I’ll be late for my next check-in. See you around?”
