Sharah took a deep breath and walked into sickbay. She nodded to a nurse. “Ensign Fayth reporting for duty and onboarding physical. I brought in the medical records last night when the shuttle arrived.” Sharah is short, 5’2”, with blue black hair that curls and bounces with the slightest movement. It is the bane of her daily routine. She has all black eyes, the mark of her Betazoid heritage. She entered sickbay, instinctively feeling the presence of those around her. While she waited for the doctor she took the time to feel the mental rhythm of the room and then surf above it. It wouldn’t stop her from hearing the thoughts and feelings of others, but it would allow her to ignore what they said. She continued to look around sickbay. The base layout was just like Challenger but some things appeared to be in different places, probably to accommodate the types of medical proceedures performed most often. With her she had a PaDD with her transfer orders as well as her research she had conducted on the Challenger. She was hoping to get permission to continue her research and possibly have a portion of the arboretum designated for growing plants for her research. She’s be quite happy to take over there as well, since her brief glance at the personnel told her there was not a botanist on board. On her off hours of course. Her medical duties would come first. The NE motioned her towards a biobed. Sharah hoped up onto it, took a deep breath. She had to go over her condition and medical history, again, but this time she wasn’t as stressed over it as she had been the last time she had an onboarding physical.
