When Cassidy stepped up to the sickbay door and looked in, everything appeared empty. Only the machines remained active. Some consoles had broken screens or keyboards. On those mainly intact, they scanned dark stains in sealed tubes. After each round, they recorded and beeped negative before starting again. Klingon lettering flashed across the screens with their findings. It appeared age had corrupted them enough to make the screens fill partway with static.
Archaic biobeds held nothing but age and stained covers. On closer inspection, someone could find traces of leather restraints. Tables with various crude medical tools were positioned nearby or knocked over. All signs of a clear struggle. Overhead, the lights remained on. However, at the back of the room, they were weaker. Maybe they were damaged, but it was hard to tell without additional investigation.

“Oooookay,” Cass said, taking in the scene with clear discomfort. She suppressed a slight shudder as her ind immediately began to put pieces together. “Let’s be cautious, but I’m going to survey the back,” she said as she moved in that direction, phaser still in hand and her eyes sharply alert.

The pain and confusion overwhelmed her quickly. Sienna let out a shout of surprise and stumbled a few steps before eventually falling to the floor on her hands and knees. She felt like the wind had been knocked from her, causing her to cough and tears to form until she finally was able to take a deep but ragged breath. Her fingers curled into fists, nails scraping the dusty floor of the long forgotten ship as the emotions of the long gone crew came at her from everywhere. The whirlwind was fast and strong ending in earth burning collective rage which felt like fire through her mind and heart, causing a growling sound to escape her lips until it was gone.
Her face was flushed with heat and tears fell on their own accord even as she finally felt the relief and emptiness of the silence that followed. “Ow.” She gasped softly.

Avik didn’t like the tone in Abram’s voice when the CoS spoke. Taking a deep breath, the XO pushed her worry to the side and managed a nod. As the security officer continued her surveillance of the area, Avik made to step forward. Before she could completely enter the sickbay, Nox crumbled.
The XO stopped in her tracks then took a knee, pulling out her tricorder. She ran a scan. As it took a readout, she observed the Betaziod’s reactions. Without any outside causes, Avik suspected it had to be internal and beyond her ability to help.
“Abrams.” The word had been more for comfort than to help Nox. Sadly, the hard truth was that the counselor likely had to ride this episode.
Having ventured towards the back, Cassidy had only partially heard what happened and she turned to gaze upon on her shipmates with a look of concern. Whatever happened here, her gut instinct that it hadn’t bee good was confirmed by the Counsellor’s reaction.
Avik’s hid her worry and fear at the outburst, on the outside only.
“Are you all right?” She asked cautiously. The Vulcan needed confirmation the Counselor had managed to regain control.

Moving slightly closer, but allowing herself a view towards the back, Cassidy flipped her attention back and forth between Nox and Avik, and whatever horror show might appear in the back. She wasn’t jump, but Cass’ alert levels were on high.

Sienna swallowed hard and sat back on her ankles, looking at the two women. One showed worry, the other, caution which for her, was worry. Not able to speak right away, she nodded that she was okay and lifted a shaking hand to wipe away tears from her cheeks, leaving streaks of dust on some spots. She cleared her throat and nodded again, “Yes. It was just surprising and a bit painful.” She downplayed the chaos of the moments earlier, but it was clear it had affected her. “If we wanted confirmation something bad happened… we just got it. There was a great deal of pain and confusion. I think…” She paused, contemplating what she had felt. “I think they realized what was going on in the end and felt a great anger about it. Like maybe they were betrayed? Or an enemy descended on them out of the blue and when they realized it, they were filled with rage. Then nothing. The rage came shortly before their destruction I imagine, unless they were all transported off.”
The last was an unlikely scenario but Sienna could hope. Granted, if they had been transported off, it was unlikely they would be happy with where they ended up given the pain and anger before the silence. She stood up. “I couldn’t tell if the threat came from the interior or exterior of the ship. I want to process it more.”
