She was overdue and while Vora couldn’t forget to go get her physical, like any other being, her mind prioritized information. Not everything was exceptionally relevant every second of every day. If it was she’d have gone insane ages ago. So while it had been filtered into the back of her mind, there had a been a nagging sensation that she should just go ahead and get it done.It wasn’t that she minded the five minute scan and questions that amounted to a regular physical. She had been clean and sober for long enough since her relapse that the usual questions were minor at best.
With a slight sigh, Vora logged off her terminal and turned Astrometrics over to Ensign Halfrey, and headed for Sickbay.
Stepping in, the tall Tenraith wasn’t sure what to expect, other then they had a new CMO she hadn’t met. She was certain that they would likely have some sort of conversation about her physiology, because even if he had read her file somehow before she showed up, the chance that he had been on one of the very few crews to have interacted with her people was exceptionally rare. So it was likely to be a learning experience for everyone.

She would find sickbay empty when she entered. However, after a moment the doors opened and the Andorian Doctor came in. He was shorter most average males, though only slightly, and looked rather gruff but not unkind. One hand held a still-steaming mug of something that glowed slightly orange, the other hand held on to the head of an ebony walking can, a PaDD was clenched under one arm as he moved into Sickbay. His antennae quested in her direction for a moment as he set his mug on his desk and turned around to greet her.
“You must be Lt. Zorell.” Tolar’s voice was gravelly but not unpleasantly so. “It would be rude of me not to offer you some tea, as I’m having a cup myself. Would you like some?” He set down the PaDD as well.

Her maroon eyes squinted slightly in confusion as she tilted her head slightly and gazed at him. “Tea? Uhhh, sure? Depends on the tea I suppose though,” she said, drawing closer. “I was just stopping by because I got a reminder I was overdue for my physical.” She wasn’t nervous per say, but she (as usual) was eager to get things over and done with quickly.

“Quite overdue, if my files are correct. Though I suspect that isn’t quite your fault.” The Andorian nodded solemnly. They would find that Tolar’s idea of medical care involved a bit more than simple check-ups now and then. In fact, the rather dour-seeming Andorian Doctor not only had the crew’s medical files but their personnel files as well. “As for tea, I can replicate whatever you like… I don’t often insist that others join me in imbibing Srajula as it’s quite bitter at first taste.” Tolar took a long sip of the glowing Orange Tea.
“I have rather different taste buds myself,” Zorell said, gazing at the CMO curiously.
“While we’re getting your tea ready, you can tell me about any changes in your recent moods or general health.” Setting the teacup down, he leaned heavily on his ebony cane, moving toward the replicator in his office, expecting her tea order at any moment.

Following him, Vora exhaled slightly, letting whatever slight tension she had walked in with dissipate. “I’ll try what you’re having. At least if I have an allergic reaction, i:m in the right place, right?” she said with a slight grin.

The Andorian chuckled softly and nodded as he punched in a command on the replicator. A moment later, he returned and presented Vora with a teacup. “Unless your medical file is incomplete, I think you’ll be just fine. Now… Did you have any concerns you’d like to tell me about?” Tolar hung his cane by its curved handle on the nearest surface and began scanning with the medical tricorder.
