Jerrin grumbled under his breath. “Fine, do whatever you want. It’s not like I was alone in it. He was being a jerk and I’m tried of being treated like some kid who needs constant chaperoning. I’m not a baby.”

“So your willing to cost your mom her Career cause your not a baby?” Range sipped his coffee, and leaned against the wall, the computer warbling that it located the three requested officers. “Sounds like adult thinking to me. If I am jerk you gonna pop me to?” Range asked casually.

Lt Cmdr Range

Jerrin’s head jerked upwards and his maroon eyes went wide. “Wait, why would it do anything to my mom?” he said with confusion and worry.

Range lookedc at him for a moment, “If the Captain decides you can’t stay, shes not gonna leave you on the closest planet, so she has to resign from starfleet to take care of you, oh that’s right your still angry about the past and don’t think of the future.” Range said, “I forgot” it felt hypocritical to say since he exactly the same if not worse, and was already an adult. There was another sip of coffee. “Abrams, lets get the assualted officers statement. The Captain will need that in lieu of testimony.”

Lt Cmdr Range

“Already planned on it,” Cassidy replied. She felt deeply for Jerrin, but she had been serious earlier. She couldn’t be his friend, and while she could grant some leniency because of Vora, there was a distinct limit to it. “Want me to do that now?”

Ensign Abrams, Security

Jerrin sat there giving them a disbelieving look. “I don’t want her to get into trouble!” he blurted out suddenly and shut right back up.

Range nodded to Cassidy. “Well whdo you think your behavour reflects on here son?” treating the boy more like an adult at the moment. Let him think about what actions had happened, what that engineer could do, or say that caused his mother prblems not Jerrin. “Hmmmm?”
