Avik wasted no times once the CO confirmed her choices and promptly walked out of the Bridge. She entered the turbo lift and stood beside the CoS, patiently waiting for the doors to open again. Once she heard them hiss, she stepped briskly down the corridor to the room. When Avik entered, she turned and waited for the rest to arrive.

A few minutes after the arrival of the XO and the COS, a young, blonde ensign in a yellow-trimmed uniform came through the door to the transporter room. She glanced around to assess who was already present and then smiled at the two assembled. “Hello, Lieutenant, Commander.”

Abrams gave a brief nod to Adrie before checking that her sidearm was on stun. Glancing back up at her junior officer, Cassidy briefed her. “We’re going over to investigate an ancient Klingon ship that seems to be automatically firing on other vessels. Standard defences, not likely to be too many surprises, but we should be prepared for anything. Phasers on stun.”

Cassidy shifted her attention to Avik. “I’ll take point and we’ll go slowly. I want to make sure we’ve all got a solid feel for the situation. I recommend we beam in close to the bridge, but not onto it.”
