It was likely Nox might’ve sensed the brief emotion peering from the controlled state it was usually in. Though drawing any attention to it might bring more discomfort and awareness than the XO would appreciate. Silently, she pulled away from looking at the instruments to listen to the conversation.

Logically she brushed it off as D’anh referring to disease and illness, using the methods to keep them in check. The XO was tempted to ask for elaboration but refrained. She was only an observer currently.

If anyone was actually paying attention… they might’ve heard the conversation between Avik and the CO. Her fingers pressed into the badge causing the CO’s voice to come online.

She was worried about what might be going on up there and hoped Vora was alright, but Dvorak was there too now so she knew her friend would be okay. “I would also assume based on observations that they might put up a bit of a fight. But you never know, some go easily.”

One moment, she was examining woefully out of date technology and cringing inwardly at the idea of a mostly holistic society when Avik turned away for communication from the Bridge. Having no idea that the little people of this world were doing anything strange, she could not have guessed that Mrs. Pondbottom had done anything like she was being accused of. Granted, Sienna did not know the creature. She turned to D’anh as they walked swiftly back to the Governors home.
