“You heard me! Just because you have a uniform, doesn’t make you better than me. Back off!”
“Look, it was just a question.”
“You’re treating me like someone who is doing something wrong simply by sitting here.”
Three minutes later

crack!

The man staggered back, holding his nose. “I dink you oke it!”

Two minutes later

Most of the time, a security officer’s job on a starship was pretty quiet. Some days there might be an away team assignment, but other than that it was mostly patrol, training and drills. And then you had some moments like this one were you were called to investigate a situation on the ship.

Slipping through the double doors of the lounge, Cassidy immediately saw what the issue was. One officer in gold was sitting in a chair nursing an injured face (which clearly had blood a cloth) and a visibly angry Tenraith boy who was pretty much the size of most Human adult males. A third person in off-duty clothing was tending to the injured officer. Inwardly she groaned and then approached, shaking her head.

“So… anyone want to tall me what happened?”
