As much as Zeke hated the prospect of it, he needed to interact more with the regular crew. So it was that he found himself in the Nine Forward ship’s lounge. He found an empty table near the window that looked out over the stars. Then he pondered over what to have for dinner. In the meanwhile, he ordered a nice glass of chilled white wine.

So it was that he ordered a nice pan pizza, with double pepperoni and double black olives. And a bottle of chilled white wine. It had been a while since he had a pizza. Possibly back to when the ship was back at the starbase getting repairs done from the previous mission. As he dined, he took in the view of the stars as the ship was at some warp speed or another.

The large framed man paused as he spotted the CMO, pizza and white wine, his wife often replicated him pizza on his first night back from deployment, unless they were on earth then the went to Chicago for the real deal. “I got a replicator code for the Pizzaeria Uno’s menu if you want real chicago deep dish.” Range offered, “I got it from thier head chef after arm wrestling half his family and or Kitchen staff” for once the chief wasn’t in uniform just black cargo shorts running shoes and an olive drab tshirt with SFMC stenciled on it with few obviously repaired rips and tears. “I prefer mine with a good beer though.” the two men had a lot in common that they didn’t know or talk about.
