“It’s in the old style, my parents loved to have normal pictures. It’s in a black display, about 4 inches by 6 inch frame. It’s a picture of my parents, my sister and myself. We had a large boa constrictor draped over all of our shoulders with the keeper standing beside us.” she explained sadly.

“Okay,” Cassidy said as the entered in the information diligently. “When do you last remembering seeing it, and when did you realize it was missing?”

Ensign Abrams, Security

“I always look at it before I start my shift.” She said sadly, “When I got off shift, I noticed it was missing because it is always on my desk.” She explained. “This was yesterday. I thought that maybe I knocked it down, or that maybe Ames put it someplace accidentally. But we tore our quarters apart and couldn’t find it.”

Cassidy frowned slightly. “Was there anyone around when you left your quarters? Anything else odd that happened that day or anything later that might suggest someone was in your quarters?”

Ensign Abrams, Security

The young women shrugged. “I don’t know. There are always people walking past our quarters. I don’t remember anything unusual about yesterday. My roommate, Ames usually locks our quarters before she leaves because her shifts starts after mine. She told me she locked the door after she left.”

“Okay. I will investigate. I can check the records in the computer first. But I want to narrow down timeframe. What time did you get off shift and where is your roommate now? I may need to talk to her as well,” Cassidy said, filling in more of the incident report.

“I got off shift at 1500 yesterday and my roommate, Ames McLaughlin gets off at 1800. I think my roommate is just about to get off her shift.” she responded, thinking back.
