SNIP
It was a good thing he wasn’t quite used to the fact that his more surface thoughts often could be heard by her. She had to wonder what connected them so that made it easy for her to pick up on what he was thinking. It wasn’t unusual for her to read people easily, but something about Johann made it easier, more an unconscious effort than a conscious one.... which she had to admit, was what got her into trouble in the first place.
The grin that spread across her face was nothing less than mischievous. She nodded. “Alright. Turn about is fair play. I will see you tomorrow. 1700 hours.” Sienna collected her PaDDs and stood, leaving the XO in whatever state she left him in. She hoped she had turned his head. He was very handsome and she very much enjoyed his company.

“Later,” he said simply.
Let’s see if she looks back… he thought to himself as he took the occasion of her exit to admire her with his ocular implants… this time in the visual spectrum instead of infrared like the other night.

Her fingers fiddled with her PaDDs as she walked to the door of the Lounge. The quiet atmosphere, so perfect for their conversation before, now made her feel self conscious and a little nervous. Sienna wondered if Johann was watching her as she exited the now open Lounge doors. Almost unconsciously, she turned to look at him as she turned right to head to the Turbolift just before the doors closed behind her. He HAD been looking at her. Elated, she nearly skipped to the Turbolift, smiling ear to ear and heart going a little more fast than normal.
Still got it, he thought in an entirely self-satisfied way.
Her hand came to her burning cheek, glad not for the first time that night that no one had seen her react this way. She was.... giddy. That would have to stop before she saw him again. She was an adult woman! She should be able to handle a man’s flirting without going to pieces. Yet, she couldn’t stop herself from smiling, not when she left the Turbolift. Not when she entered her quarters, and not when slipping into bed for the night. Yes, she was very much looking forward to her date tomorrow, so much so that it took a while for sleep to claim the counselor. But claim her it did at last.

Now all Johann needed to do was find a beach program somewhere on the Holodeck. He didn’t actually know of any first hand; it was an improvised decision largely because he was interested in seeing her someplace where it would be socially acceptable to be scantily clad. Beaches were almost uniformly popular; there was bound to be one to choose from in the computer.
After a minute of contemplating the situation, he got up from the table in the lounge and headed back to his quarters.
