Johann read the report again. He didn’t really need to read the report again, as he had read it twice already and had a lengthy conversation about the situation in the Holodeck with the report’s author. Now it was time for him to do something about it. He actually wasn’t sure that what he was about to do was going to work, but it was what Range recommended and it was probably worth trying…

Given she sent most of her working hours in Astrometrics these days, it took her hardly anytime at all to make it to the bridge and consequently his office. Sh pressed the chime.

“Enter,” he said.

Stepping in, Vora raised her brows in a curious ‘you wanted to see me?’ expression, opting to just let him explain, since they had a pretty good short hand by this point.

Lt. (j.g) Zorell, Sciences

“Sit,” he said tersley.

His tone and body language spoke volumes and made her straighten her posture slightly as she took the seat.

“I’ve read a report about an encounter between Jerrin and Ensign Grant. And I had a very long conversation with Mr. Range about it as well. I don’t think I actually have to explain why this is a big problem, right?”

She all but sunk back into the chair with her head tilted up slightly and her eyes closed as she sighed. “No, you don’t.” Vora straightened up a bit and gazed at Johann. “We’re dealing with it on the counselling end, but yes, I do realize this is the second incident with him on the ship.” Not including ones where he’s yelling at me. There had definitely been more than one sleepless nights over her wayward son and she didn’t envision it getting that much better anytime soon.

“We can’t have a third incident,” he said simply. “If there is one, I guarantee there will not be a fourth.” It was a matter of fact statement, one that was largely dictated by his obligations to the ship rather than how he felt about anybody who was involved.

“But with that said,” he said taking a far more relaxed tone, “Mr. Range actually had a suggestion about how we prevent that from being necessary. Did he discuss it with you already?”
