After meeting with the Europa’s security chief, Stephen returned to his quarters to review the other DH’s profiles. He skimmed through the first two, then got to Lieutenant Nox’s file, which he began to skim through as well.

Of course, as any sane person with Stephen’s newly-acquired clearance level would, he stopped and stared as soon as he caught the words “alternate universe.” Then he stared some more. Then he hastily read through the rest of the file. Then he stood up and speed-walked out the door to the turbolift.

A few minutes later he arrived at the Counselor’s office and rang the bell, actively putting in effort to keep his feet from jittering in excitement.
